Stamford Court

Stamford Court is a commercial development located in the heart of City Hall, serving both offices and retail tenants.
Together with UIC Land, Comfort completed an Energy Performance Retrofitting program in 2019. This resulted in a significant reduction of 44% in energy consumption, which is equivalent to cutting carbon emissions by 330 tonnes per year, roughly the annual output of 194 public flats.
The project focused on holistic conservation measures, including reducing energy use from air-conditioning, lighting, and ventilation fans, implementing water-efficient and leak detection measures, establishing a waste recycling program, and adopting green products.
The existing air-cooled chiller plant was converted to a water-cooled chiller plant, which is more energy efficient. With Comfort’s Energy Management System (EMS) and intelligent controls, the plant is operating at its optimal point, achieving a best-in-class plant efficiency of 0.509kW/RT.
The conventional Air Handling Units (AHU) were replaced with Electronically Communicated (EC) Fan AHU, performing at an efficiency of 0.109kW/RT, resulting in a total system efficiency of 0.618kW/RT.
Existing lighting was also upgraded to energy-efficient LED lights in common areas and some tenant spaces, resulting in a 52z
