Stamford Court is a prime example of sustainability in action. Through a strategic partnership with Comfort Management, the 27 years old building was transformed and achieved a remarkable 44% reduction in energy consumption.

Key Energy-Saving Upgrades:

The Stamford Court retrofit project took a comprehensive approach to energy conservation, incorporating innovative designs and sustainable features to optimize performance:

  • The air-cooled chiller plant was replaced with a more energy efficient water-cooled chiller plant system. Coupled with Comfort Management’s Energy Management System (EMS) advance controls, the chiller plant operates at best-in-class plant efficiency of 0.509 kW/RT.
  • Electronically Communicated (EC) Fan AHUs replaced conventional AHUs, resulting in an outstanding airside efficiency of 0.109 kW/RT and thus attained a total system efficiency of 0.618 kW/RT.
  • Energy-efficient LED lighting was installed in common areas and select tenant spaces, cutting lighting energy use by 52%.
  • In addition to these upgrades, Stamford Court has enhanced its car park ventilation system, achieved PUB-certified Water Efficient Building (WEB) status, and launched a waste recycling program to further strengthen its sustainability efforts.

As a result of these innovative upgrades, Stamford Court was awarded the prestigious BCA Green Mark Platinum SLE certification and the ASEAN Energy Award 2021 for excellence in energy efficiency and sustainability.

A Commitment to Ongoing Sustainability:

Stamford Court is committed to maintaining its energy-saving achievements by partnering with Comfort Management, a SGBC accredited EPC maintenance firm, for Energy Performance Maintenance. This ongoing partnership ensures the retrofitted chilled-water system continues to operate at optimal efficiency.
